Palm_PR Manager is a Win32 software application which centralizes and provides management of the data captured by any Palm_PR unit.

PDA running Intertraff Palm_PR connects through the USB port to the Personal Computer where Palm_PR Manager is installed. Once a connection is established via MS Active Sync the following data are downloaded into the Manager:

Number plates in TXT format		Date and time of readings
Full image pictures		Plate patch pictures
Alert Messages displayed to Operator

Palm_PR Manager has a powerful Database Image Viewer that provides a means of listing the images and data stored. The list is sorted by PDA ID (Pda Identification Number). In this way it is always possible to know which PDA or Operator performed the license plate recognition.

Operator may manipulate the database by searching for records using a wide range of search methods enabling searches to be made even with partial criteria.
Any information stored in Palm_PR Manager can be passed to a ticket office system or third software application.

Palm_PR Manager is also required to upload in the Palm_PR the Black and the White List of number plates. The Black List contains all the license plate numbers the Operator wishes to get an alert message, if the car number plate read, matched one of those in the list.
On the contrary, the White List is useful for applications such as Restricted Area Enforcement or similar where Operator needs to be alerted in case the car number plate read, is not in the said list.
