Copland is a Win32 software application which provides management of violation data produced by any D-Cop outstation. Copland provides the ability to import violation via LAN, Internet or via an archive media. The violation images and data can be viewed by an Operator and if appropriate, can be passed to a ticket office system.
All communications between Copland and D-cop are encrypted.
If a connection is established successfully, D-cop sends a list of all the uncollected violations to Copland. Violations are sorted by site and once selected from the displayed list, they can be transferred to Copland. On top of that Copland offers the option to remotely update the D-cop configuration and settings.
Copland user interface is designed to have a simple operation but to clearly display all the relevant information. It's equipped with a facility to allow the backup of database and key files. Also, all keys event that have occurred are secured in a Audit log. For example if a violation is passed to the ticket office system, then an entry will be added to the log to record this action. The log entry will also indicate the violation concerned and if appropriate the operator identity.
